Marvel Studios and Walt Disney.

2) What is conglomerate ownership and how does it link to Doctor Strange?

Conglomerate ownership is when one major company owns subsidiary companies. This links to Doctor Strange as Disney owns Marvel which is the company that created the film.

3) Who regulates the film industry in the UK?

The British Board of Film Classifications are in charge of film ratings in the UK.

4) What age rating was Doctor Strange given? Why?

Doctor Strange was rated 12A because it had "moderate fantasy violence" but it wasn't too graphic, as it's family friendly.

5) How was Doctor Strange promoted to an audience? List at least three different methods used by the film's marketing campaign.

-Traditional methods such as posters and teaser trailers. 

-Specific IMAX promotions with free distribution of exclusive posters.

-Social media profiles such as Instagram,Twitter,Facebook etc.

6) Analyse the film trailer for Doctor Strange. What aspects of the trailer tell you this is a big-budget blockbuster movie?

The CGI, the actors-(Star Power e.g Benedict Cumberbatch),the locations, the huge marketing campaign.

7) What was the production budget for Doctor Strange and how much did it make at the box office?

The production budget for Doctor Strange was $165 million and it made $11 million at the box office.

8) Would you consider Doctor Strange a successful Hollywood blockbuster? Why?

I consider Doctor Strange a bit unsuccessful compared to other Marvel Blockbusters because Doctor Strange made less income with a similar budget compared to the other Marvel Blockbusters. (E.g Civil War made $1.153 billion with a $250 million budget.)
