2) What TV genre is Stranger Things?

Stranger Things is a Drama, Fantasy and horror TV series.

 3) Costume: The costumes in this clip are very old schooled and retro for the kids and the parents which links to the theme of the series which is set in the 1980s. At the beginning of the scene there is a scientist who is wearing a lab coat and a lanyard which then links to the idea of science fiction which is also the theme of the series.

Props: The props are old schooled in this clip as well as it was obviously set in the 1980s. These include vintage phones, board game pieces, caps, bicycles, vintage cars, vintage TV, restricted,do not enter signs and old shutters/blinds. This links to the theme of it being old school as in those times kids didn't have any electronics so they would play with board games or make up some games. The do not enter and restricted signs link to the theme of horror and science fiction as it represents a place which obviously has secrets and doesn't want anybody going in there.

Setting: At the beginning of the clip, the setting is a lab which links to the science fiction side of the series, after the setting changes to Mike's house where the kids play a board game which links to the fantasy side then it changes to a street where all of them go their seperate ways home and finally the setting changes to Will's house where he quickly runs home as something is trying to attack him.
